Cosmic Kick is a lifestyle blog written by Liverpool based blogger and freelance writer, Angela Kate Webster. Expect posts on fashion, tech, gaming, travel, beauty and music!
Hello! *waves* thanks for stopping by. I’m Angela; a 31 year old lifestyle blogger, freelance writer, sometimes Etsy seller, dreamer and dork with an interest in pretty much everything. That might sound vague but it’s true!
I’ve been blogging for over 10 years on various platforms and started Cosmic Kick 7 years ago. It began simply as a way to share the weird and wonderful things I’d found online (we didn’t have the Facepage and WhatsItt back in my day) and while there’s still lots of that going on (you can find loads of that kind of stuff in my Clicks of Awesome series) you’ll also find tech news, beauty reviews, music recommendations, fashion advice, competitions and loads more here.
If you’d like to work together I’d love to hear from you! Just send me an email via the Contact page or tweet me @cosmic_kick and I’ll be in touch soon.

Different Creatures | Circa Waves:
An upbeat but powerful album filled with thunderous bass guitar riffs and pounding drums that'll make you want to jump up and dance.
Different Creatures has filled the indie-shaped hole in my music collection. It's the kind of album you need for the morning commute to a job you hate. I'm having trouble listening to this album at a sensible volume (Track 6 in particular). Not great news for my tinnitus :/
"Over the years, I've spent a worrying amount of time consuming science documentaries, lectures and podcasts on YouTube. Some lessons stick in my brain easier than others, but I've always struggled with the quantum world. I decided to knuckle down and learn the very basics of quantum gravity with Rovelli's book - written for those who (like me!) may not have a scientific education - to gain a solid understanding what science says reality is made of.
