Look Fantastic Beauty Box is one year old this month! To celebrate they have put together a selection of amazing beauty samplers and full size products in a glitzy, sprinkle covered, sparkly box. September’s box contains no less than eight products along with some special extras. I know you can’t wait to see what’s inside so let’s tuck in!
What’s inside September’s Look Fantastic Beauty Box?
PHYTO Phytokératine Extréme
Of all of the products in September’s box this one excites me the most. I’d never heard of PHYTO before, and on first sight I thought this was a foundation or primer (most likely due to the glass pump bottle) but it’s actually a super intensive leave-in conditioning hair cream. The bottle says it’s for “Ultra-damaged, brittle and dry hair”. My hair isn’t dry very at all so it may be a little heavy on my fine locks, but it smells so good! I just have to try it.
SEBASTIAN PENETRAITT Shampoo and Conditioner
SEBASTIAN is another hair brand that I’m new to. The PENETRAITT hair care system is designed to prevent and protect chemically treated hair from excess stress. I have natural hair so I am going to pass this one on to Mum. I’ll let you know what she thinks.
Bliss Fabulous Foaming Face Wash
I’ve been meaning to try Bliss for years. I’m a huge fan of products that my partner and I can share so this one-size-fits-all foaming wash is perfect! It acts as both a cleanser and a scrub, and apparently works well as a shaving foam. Perfect for popping in your weekend bag.
Caudalíe Vinosource Moisturising Sorbet and S.O.S Thirst Quenching Serum
I love all things Caudalíe and this Vinosource range is no exception. Designed to strengthen and hydrate sensitive skin, both Vinosource products have rave reviews on US beauty sites. My combination skin flares up easily, and this light moisturiser sounds promising thanks to it’s ingredients of grape water, mandarin and lemon leaf. They smell gorgeous too!
CODAGE Scrubbing Cream
CODAGE Scrubbing Cream is a fine exfoliating wash made from organic rice particles. The formula – described on the CODAGE site as a “rich and soothing emulsion” – is gentle enough for sensitive skin (yay!) which is great news for me as some scrubs leave me looking sunburned! (I once tried Lush’s Sea Salt scrub on my face…I looked like a cat has attacked me).
Tan Worx Tan maintainer
The last item in the Look Fantastic Beauty Box is a tan maintainer from Cheltenham based company, Tan Worx. According to the tube info, this product helps to hydrate skin that has been dried out by the sun and re-mineralises skin to help prevent cellular damage caused by sun exposure. I’ve tried a little of it on my legs and it really does hydrate instantly, without being sticky or heavy.
Unfortunately for me though I’ve have never been big in to tanning so I don’t have much use for this product. My skin refuses to develop an even, natural tan. My limbs stay whiter than snow, my face turns patchy shades of red and brown and everywhere in between beams a shade redder than a tomato.
As if that little lot isn’t enough, the box also contains money off vouchers for £19 off at GHD, Coggles, Mybag and Myprotien, as well as a sneak peak in to the Look Fantastic Beauty Advent Calender! Something I’m very excited about getting my mitts on…
The Look Fantastic Beauty Box is a great choice if you want value for money, with more products on offer per month than many of the other big name subscriptions it’s a no-brainer. You can order your 1st Birthday Look Fantastic Beauty Box over here.
