Have you ever wanted to try out a facial oil but worry that it might clog up your pores and leave your face looking slicker than a tub of butter? Then read on and fear no more! A good facial oil wont cause greasy skin, and can even help to rebalance problem skin when used correctly.
Although I’ve always used them sparingly, I’ve used facial oils for a long time. They have always worked well but can be expensive. Organic Skin Care brand Peau Naturelle offer a low priced alternative to these expensive big brand names, but does their product deliver the same result?
Who are Peau Naturelle?
Peau Naturelle is a brand new organic skin care brand based in Solihull here in the UK. They produce vegan products that have not been tested on animals and have been certified by the Organic Soil Association. Their goal is to provide safe, high quality organic skin care at affordable prices.
What is Peau Naturelle Organic Anti-blemish Facial Oil?
It is Peau Naturelle’s flagship product. A 100% natural facial oil that contains Grapeseed oil, Jojoba oil, Lavender oil, Lemon oil and Tea Tree oil. It comes in a small, solid plastic bottle and promises to help heal blemishes, protect from pollution, prevent a build up of bacteria and stop your skin from producing excess sebum. A problem I have had around my nose and forehead since my teens. Let’s see if it delivers.
My experience with Peau Naturelle Organic Anti-blemish Facial Oil.
Peau Naturelle Organic Anti-blemish Facial Oil is versatile so I chose to use it as a night time moisturiser. The bottle says to use 2-3 drops but I needed somewhere between 5-8 drops for my face (although it is possible I just have a massive face). Apply to freshly cleansed skin and enjoy the fragrance while the oil works its magic. Lavender and lemongrass is the perfect scent to prepare you for a good nights sleep!
I am impressed by how well this oil absorbs in to the skin, leaving no greasy residue and meaning there’s little chance of a face print in your pillow the next day. Skin stays soft and moisturised throughout the night and when washed off the next morning, my face feels soothed and cared for.
My hands seem to be benefiting from my new nightly skincare regime as I rub any excess oil in to the backs of them. I’m not sure if it’s meant to be used this way, but they’re silky soft so I ain’t stopping any time soon!
Would I recommend Peau Naturelle Organic Anti-blemish Facial Oil to other’s?
Yes! I’ve been using this product for two weeks now and I’m very happy with it. It’s not often that a product under £10 can tick all of the boxes. This oil feels high quality, it’s ethically developed, it smells so good, and it gives results equal to those I’ve had with products that I’ve spent 4x the amount on! A little goes a long way with this product so it should last a few months.
