Can you believe Sims 4 has been out for almost two years already? I was so excited about it back when the demo dropped, but the full game lacked something. Although I enjoyed Sims 4, it felt much smaller than its predecessors, and for me that meant it lost its sense of freedom and realism. If you’re feeling the same way, or if you fancy a Sims break, Ellenor Wears has some suggestions for you.

I’ve tried to keep an art journal in the past: It’s hard! I tend to over-think my illustrations and it soon becomes a chore. Sweet Allure started her art journal last week and her simple but bright, fun watercolours have inspired me to give it another shot. That delicious looking pink doughnut has also inspired me to take a trip to Greggs…

A Tiny Mew shared a refreshing post about her opinion of modern feminism. A move which – as ridiculous as it may sound – is a brave thing to do. What, with all of the in-fighting and social media shaming that goes on within the movement at times.

Sweet Allure’s blog post also introduced me to Found Some Paper.  Gah; I love this blog. The layout, the voice, everything! In this post, Found Some Paper shares her love of graphic artist and Illustrator, Alessandro Pautasso and introduced me to a world of colour.

Many of you already know about my on-off comping addiction: It comes in waves. I can go for months without a comping binge, then *WHAM*; I’ve entered 100 competitions in an evening and I can’t feel my index finger from all the rapid  clicking. Last week I had one of those evenings and I only went and won a pair of 1st Class Virgin Rail tickets! I had the option of any journey on their East Coast line. I decided on a Christmas trip to Edinburgh. So with this in mind I was over the moon to learn from Colours and Carousels that Edinburgh has it’s own cat café! This could just be the best Christmas ever.
