Designer Workout Fashion from Farfetch

A recent survey in the US showed that the most popular New Year resolution for 2016 is to “Enjoy life to the full” closely followed by “Live a healthier lifestyle”. I say why not add both to the list? Start by glamming up your workout wardrobe. I’m saying “No!” to boring black jogging pants this year.

In fact, I’ll be needing a complete wardrobe overhaul soon. My biggest and most important resolution for 2016 is to lose a whopping 100lbs and finally get fit. (I’m already 6lbs down, but I’ll tell you more about that in a future post).

The awesome folks over at designer boutique community Farfetch emailed me earlier this month and asked if I’d like to be involved in their current blogger competition by putting together a fitness outfit. As an online shopping addict who loves entering competitions, hell yes I would! Wish me luck guys.

My Farfetch Workout Outfit Competition Entry

Inspired by the icy cold weather we’ve been having lately, I opted for a multi-layer get-up that isn’t frumpy or dull. Cue these gorgeous rock crystal print leggings from New York based luxury active-wear brand, Live the Process. The print draws inspiration from holistic therapies and will brighten up even the most rainy January morning run.

Staying with the holistic theme I found these gorgeous 18kt gold Moonstone earrings from Irene Neuwirt. Healers believe that moonstone has a feminine energy and promotes inner growth and strength: Just what’s needed to stick to your new year fitness regime. Not at all necessary but who cares? They’re so pretty…

Here come the layers. A Live The Process sports bra, Alexander Wang tank top, and my favourite; the M Missoni three-quarter sleeve top should be enough to warm indoors. For outdoor workouts this hoodie from Monreal London matches the rest of the outfit nicely.

One workout item I am in desperate need of –  and probably the most important workout item of all – is a new pair of running shoes. I love the Flyknit Lunar 3 from Nike.
