Let’s Paint the Worktops Red: Savisto 3 in 1 Hand Blender Review

Oh how I’ve missed having a blender. I packed-up and Ebayed my old one when I downsized from a house to a one bedroom flat last year: It was too big, too powerful for my needs and too loud! I needed something more compact, easier to pack away and less likely to wake up the neighbours. What I wanted was something like the Savisto 3 in 1 Hand Blender.

What’s in the box?

Okay; before I talk about the contents of the box, lets just take a moment to appreciate how gorgeous this matte red finish is. Can I have my whole life in decked out in this colour please? Kitchen. Car. Wardrobe. Everything!

Now that’s out of my system here’s what’s inside the box: We’ve got the main unit running a 750 watt motor, a stainless steel blending attachment, an 800ml beaker – great for smoothies, a whisk for whipping up cream and the likes, and a food processor for salsas, baby food and more.

Savisto 3 in 1 Hand blender unboxing

The Savisto 3 in 1 Hand Blender is so easy to use. At the top of the unit is a speed dial with 5 settings, and on the front are two perfectly positioned buttons: A “Turbo” button for when a little extra force is needed, and a power button. Simply press in to start up the blender, and release to stop. Perfect for pulsing when processing ingredients.

Changing attachments is simple: See the button in the gif above? Well, there’s another on the opposite side. Just squeeze and pull the attachment to remove, then slot another on until it clicks in to place.

The Savisto 3 in 1 Hand Blender’s sleek design makes it look and feel more expensive than it actually is. It’s relatively lightweight compared to my old hand blender and it doesn’t slip out of my hand as easily. I love having a whisk option too. I’m usually a fork-whisking kinda gal so this is light years ahead in kitchen technology for me; I feel like the culinary Marty McFly.

It’s not too noisy either. My previous blender was so loud that I would wake people up on the other side of the house. Granted, this doesn’t have the same power behind it, but it’s nice that I don’t have to worry about the windows shattering every time I want a smoothie.

So far I’ve used the blender to whip up fresh tomato soup and blueberry and banana smoothies with ease, but the real test will be nut butter in the food processor. I’ll report back in a future post with my results on that experiment.

Click here to see the Savisto 3 in 1 Hand Blender – available in red and black, and currently on sale for just £37.99 with free delivery. It could make a great Christmas gift for the foodie in your life…
